Stem cells are cells that have the ability to renew and restore. These cells can be classified as multi-functional cells by restoring effect, removing the damaged cells, even renewing the organ. What is the stem cell?

The use of stem cells in the treatment of diabetes refers to diabetes mellitus type 1. In this disease, Langerhans beta cells are not produced, causing a shortage of insulin in patients. The insulin should play a role in maintaining the homeostasis of carbohydrates.
To treat the disease, methods of stem cells are needed for Langerhans cells transplantation to meet the needs of insulin. About ten years ago, the number of successful stem cells surgery was about only 8% of the overall surgery.
