Police source says, Louisiana man shot 3 brothers and killed himself after an argument over music

Four man shot to death, including three brothers, were found by detectives of East Baton Rouge in a driveway on Talmadge Crumholt Road last Sunday 13.

Casey Raborn Hicks, spokeswoman for the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office, said authorities suspected a gunman who killed the three brothers before eventually, turning the gun on himself.

The three brothers shot are Mark Allen, 51, of 8599 Wisteria St. in Denham Springs; Perry Allen, 55, of 13700 Ridge Crest Drive also in Denham Springs and finally, Joseph Allen, 57, of 35215 Riverview Drive in Holden.

Rodney Chemin, 60, shot the three brothers in front of his house at 12795 Talmadge Crumholt Rd. around midnight and then, shot himself, according to police. Chemin and the Allen brothers were watching a football and listening to music at a neighbor’s home earlier on Saturday evening. Afterwards, they four began to fight over the music and left the neighbor’s home.

Just 10 minutes after they left, shots were fired and heard by the neighbor. They rushed down the Chemin’s driveway and saw the four men shot dead.

Hicks said the investigation is still ongoing.
