Traffic Registration Book (horsepower) in Mauritius: Four new arrests

One is an insurance agent. The other, an officer of the National Transport Authority (NTA) and the other two people arrested in connection with the investigation of trafficking horsepower are yet unknown.

It’s Thursday, January 21 the team from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Port Louis North, conducted by  the assistant police superintendent Hector Tuyau, proceeded to their arrest.

Bringing to more than a dozen, numbers of people arrested so far in this case. In the coming days, other officers of the NTA could be apprehended.

CID investigators from Port Louis North suspect that a thousand drivers hold falsified horsepower’s.
