Terre-Rouge Police Station: A Young Inmate Found Hanged In His Cell



Tragic end for Kingsley Dylan P., a resident of Pointe-aux-Piments, who was found hanged in his cell at the police station of Terre-Rouge, in the afternoon of Monday, March 21.

According to the first elements of the investigation, the young 26 years old man hanged himself using a shirt and a towel. His body was transported to the SSR hospital for autopsy.

Hours before his death, Dylan P. Kingsley was questioned by investigators from the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) of Trou-aux-Biches. He was provisionally accused of stealing in a watermelons plantation in Pointe-aux-Piments.



As part of this investigation, the young man had been detained since March 18. He has not been released on bail because he was already on parole for another theft committed.

His testimony on Monday, March 21 ended around noon. And in the afternoon the same day, a policeman found him hanging in his cell. An investigation has been opened to determine the circumstances of the death.
